Michelle started playing with the group in 2013. She was one of the youngest winners of the Birmingham Conservatoire Recorder Prize. Since graduating with a first class honours degree, she has gone on to perform on the concert platform and in folk clubs across the country.

A versatile player, she currently performs with a range of Birmingham-based ensembles including 6-piece folk band, The Bonfire Radicals and the contemporary ensemble Decibel, which sees the recorder as an integral part of a 9-piece amplified ensemble.

She recently completed a European tour of Sebastian Mattias’ Danserye, a music and dance collaboration based on the work of the same name by the Renaissance composer Tielman Susato.
