Bring the Power: Inclusive Festival Day of Sport and Culture
K’antu Ensemble, in collaboration with United by 2022 and SAFS, held an inclusive festival day of music, dance, and sport on Friday 16th August at the Windmill Community Centre in Smethwick, Birmingham.
The Day was a fantastic celebration of inclusivity and community. Families from the local area were able to take part in a series of sessions where children with disabilities could take part alongside those without. These included sensory music by K’antu, dance, and sports by local instructors. We were even lucky enough to be joined by Paralympian Siobhan Fitzpatrick and Perry the Bull - the mascot of Birmingham 2022!
